UNTREATED TREATED

Barroca Soapstone

This stone looks like an abstract watercolor in shades of blue gray and black when in its un-oiled state. When oiled it becomes a beautiful deep black. This stone is very hard.

Brazilian Black

Our most popular soapstone.

Mumbai Grey - India

This soapstone, after the mineral oil treatment, turns into an elegant charcoal gray. Some slabs may show some mild veining. It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for a plain/even stone. We are the only So. Cal. supplier with Indian Soapstone.

Julia - Brazil

This soapstone, before oil is a light gray. Once treated, it will darken to a very dark black with occasional green veining depending on the slab. This stone is slightly harder than usual.

Pietra-Grigia - Brazil

This soapstone before being treated with mineral oil is light gray with dark gray veining. Once treated, the mineral oil will slightly darken the background of the stone to a charcoal gray, and the veining will become an even darker gray. Very unique Soapstone variation.

Black Venata

A dramatic black based stone, with pronounced usually white veins. Very popular.
